Huge Fourth Quarter Boosts Thunder Over Phoenix

Three Thunder players scored 30+ points and two set new career highs as OKC outscored the Suns 31-16 in the fourth to take the 115-104 victory.

Oklahoma City put together its biggest comeback of the season Wednesday night on the home court as the Thunder rallied from a 16 point deficit to takedown Phoenix 115-104.

James Harden and Serge Ibaka each recorded career-high nights as Harden finished with 30 points while Ibaka tallied 20 rebounds to go with 18 points.

In addition, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook finished with 30 and 31 points respectively.

OKC found itself down by as many as 16 early on but cut the Suns lead to 64-58 by halftime.

The second half was all about OKC on both ends of the floor. Defense created instant offense for the Thunder who was able to find rhythm and continue to chip away at the Suns lead entering the fourth quarter.

Durant's driving layup with 9:10 remaining gave the Thunder its first lead since the opening bucket of the game.

Oklahoma City limited Phoenix to two baskets over an 11-minute stretch as the Thunder outscored Phoenix 31-16 in the fourth.

The Thunder shot 44 percent from the field (40-91) and managed 30.8 percent from behind the arc while Phoenix went 45.2 percent from the floor but only netted 15.8 percent of their 3-point shots.

OKC has won 14 straight games inside Chesapeake Energy Arena and moves to 31-8 on the season and 17-1 at home.

Marcin Gortat had a career-best 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead Phoenix.

Westbrook's 31 points mark the third time this season he has scored 30 or more points.

The Thunder now prepares for Friday's 7 p.m. matchup against Cleveland.
