The summer of 1980 is in the record books as one of the hottest and driest in Oklahoma's history.  But it's also known for something else.

During that long, hot summer, a preacher turned a Bartlesville drive-in theater into an outdoor church.

Reporter Rex Daugherty explains how he did it, in this report from July 6, 1980.
