If you're heading downtown this weekend, your search for parking might be less stressful.

The North Parking Garage is now open for business to anyone after 5 p.m.

It's just north of the BOK Tower on Main Street between First and Archer Streets.

Parking spots in the Brady Arts District are prime real estate, and if you've been downtown recently, you've probably noticed: Finding a place to park is a bit of a headache.

Buildings are going up, sewer lines are going in, and business is looking pretty good.

There's just one complaint...

"We're reaching critical mass, we're all fighting for parking spaces right now," said Scott Moore, owner of Hey Mambo.

Now you won't have to duke it out to find prime parking, because in the North Parking Garage, there are 1,000 parking spots waiting to be filled.

"It is strategically set that it is within two to five blocks of any venue in the Brady District," Bob Fleischman, Brady Arts District Business Association said.

Bringing to surface what Bob Fleischman, the President of the Brady Arts District Business Association, considers to be one of Tulsa's best-kept secrets.

"People are just going to find out what the big secret has been with the Brady District the last three years," Fleischman said.

So, if you can see past the orange cones and construction like Moore, you'll probably see an even brighter future for the up-and-coming Brady District.

Moore said: "By this fall we're gonna see the Brady District as an entirely different venue with arts, a park, a new studio…"

And, since he mentioned it, later this year, News on 6 will be moving to the heart of the Brady Arts District.

A place we're so excited to soon call home.
