Early Thursday Morning Knife Fight Sends Tulsa Man To Hospital

A Tulsa man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times during a fight early Thursday morning in South Tulsa.

Tulsa Police got the call about a disturbance near 61st and Peoria. When officers arrived, there was a fight underway in front of an apartment complex.

After breaking up the fight, police found a wounded man lying on the ground.

The man told officers he had been in a fight with a man in his mid 20s.  That man had run away by the time police showed up.

EMSA took the wounded man in critical condition to the hospital.

Tulsa Police are now investigating to find out what led to that fight. They say the victim is expected to survive his wounds.
