The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles were unable to get their offense going Thursday, falling the Cal State Fullerton Titans 7-1, extending their losing streak to four games.

Cal State starter Dylan Floro (2-2) pitched eight innings for the Titans, including five scoreless innings, finishing after eight innings, giving up eight hits and one earned run, striking out six in the process. The only earned run came in the bottom of the sixth, an RBI double by Cam Schiller.

Kurt Giller (1-2) came away with a loss for the outing, giving up two earned runs on three hits in just three innings of service for the Golden Eagles.

The Titans jumped out to a lead in the first three innings, thanks to an RBI triple from Anthony Hutting in the first and Michael Lorenzen scoring on a wild pitch in the third inning, but did most of its damage in the seventh.

Leading 3-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Cal State Fullerton tagged on four more runs to put the game out of reach. With the bases loaded, Greg Velazquez reached on a fielding error, allowing Austin Diemer and Carlos Lopez to score, extending the lead to four runs.

Three at-bats later, Derek Legg singled to center field, bringing Austin Kingsolver and Anthony Trajano home to put the game out of reach.

The three-game series will continue at 9 p.m. Friday, as the Golden Eagles will try to halt their skid.
