Police Arrest Man Accused Of Propositioning Cleveland County Children

Officers took a metro man into custody after witnesses said he made obscene comments to young children as they walked to school.

Prosecutors have charged Jesse Trejo with lewd, indecent proposals or acts against a child. According to court documents, Trejo drove his white SUV through the area near Alcott Middle School in Norman every day. Police say he drove by an 11-year-old victim at least three times, stopped and leered at her.

Investigators say on the last occasion, Trejo stopped next to the girl and asked her to perform a lewd act. The victim said Trejo then said, "Just kidding," and drove away. The child ran home.

Court documents say Trejo made similar comments to another child.
