Tulsa City Councilor Jack Henderson Praises Police For Quick Arrests

Tulsa City Councilor Jack Henderson, who's district where the deadly shootings occurred Friday praised the police department, Mayor Dewey Bartlett and the community for the quick arrests.

Within 24 hours of the formation of a task force to find the shooter(s) involved in Friday morning's deadly crime spree, Tulsa Police announced Sunday the arrests of two people.

Police say the task force arrested Jake England, 19, and Alvin Watts, 32, both of Tulsa on complaints of first-degree murder and shooting with intent to kill.

Tulsa City Councilor Jack Henderson, who's district where the deadly shootings occurred Friday praised the police department, Mayor Dewey Bartlett and the community for the quick arrests.

Henderson said Tulsa is going to be a better place to live thaniks to the response from everyone to the tragic situation.  He also hoped this would result in more cooperation with police from the black community.
