Tulsa Police are looking for a man with a rifle who they believe opened fire on an apartment in West Tulsa late Monday.

Police say shortly after 11:30 p.m. police responded to shots fire at Western Pines Apartments near 23rd and Southwest Boulevard.

A woman who had just moved to into an apartment says someone shot through her door.

Police say at least 8 shots were fired.

The woman told officers she doesn't know anyone in the area and thinks the shooter may have targeted the wrong address.

Tulsa Police say it was fortunate no one was near the front door or it could have turned out to be tragic.

Earlier in an unrelated incident, Tulsa Police investigated a shots fired call at 3rd and Olympia.

Police say officers converged on the scene because of an incident Sunday night. They say the man was involved in a shooting Sunday and with the man's father living near 3rd and Olympia officers responded quickly.

A search was conducted but the man was not located.
