We are getting a different view of the tornado that hit Norman on Friday.

District Attorney Greg Mashburn was among those who took cover.

"We were standing at the top of the stairs to the basement when we saw it blow through," Mashburn said. "Debris went everywhere. We saw trees bent over. It was a pretty scary deal!"

The tornado knocked down power lines, shut down major roads, and damaged several buildings.

Cleanup crews were hard at work on Monday removing fallen trees.

City officials say if you have debris at your house, put it at the curb and crews will pick it up over the next week.
