Donation Drive Tonight For Woodward Tornado Victims

A donation drive for Woodward tornado victims is starting at 5 Tuesday evening in the lobby of the ORU Mabee Center, 7777 South Lewis Avenue in Tulsa. All items and cash donations collected by KRMG will be sent to Woodward on Wednesday.

Donations will be accepted until 9 p.m. A representative of the Salvation army will be on hand to accept cash and check donations. Checks should be made payable to Salvation Army of Woodward.

Remember that there is no need for clothing donations or for volunteers to "self-deploy" to the tornado-ravaged town.

Suggested items:

  • Leather gloves
  • Small folding military style cots
  • Flashlights
  • AA and AAA batteries
  • Trash bags

Come to the Mabee Center by 7 p.m. to attend "A Life Changing Evening With Andy Andrews."
