SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -

Tulsa County deputies say a 15-year-old boy who failed to yield, fled from authorities near Keystone Lake Wednesday afternoon before crashing his truck on Highway 412.

The teen took out guard rails in the eastbound lanes of the highway near 81st West Avenue in Sand Springs. There were no injuries.

Before the crash, deputies had called off the chase because suspect was going at a high rate of speed in a high traffic area.

Authorities speculated the teen may have been trying to get around another vehicle when he crashed.

He was arrested at the scene. It's not known if the driver was licensed.
