Keilani Ricketts Earns Big 12 Pitcher Of The Week Award

NORMAN, Oklahoma – OU pitcher Keilani Ricketts earned her fifth Big 12 Pitcher of the Week Award, the league announced Tuesday.

Ricketts picked up three wins in the past week and became the first OU pitcher to earn the award five times in a season.

She had an impressive game on Friday night against No. 10 Missouri, throwing a complete game with one run and 12 strikeouts in a victory.

Ricketts threw three innings of relief against the Tigers on Saturday, and then led the Sooners to a 2-1 victory over Missouri on Sunday. She had 11 strikeouts in the Sunday game, her 16th double-digit strikeout of the season.

She leads the Big 12 in ERA (.99) and strikeouts (285).

The Sooners will host rival Oklahoma State for Bedlam on Wednesday night in Norman.
