Oklahoma State Cowgirls announced Tuesday the addition of Jack Easley to the women's basketball staff. Easley, who came to OSU in 1983 and served the Cowgirls for 19 seasons, will be the new director of player development.

"We are excited that Jack has decided to join our staff," Littell said. "He brings with him a wealth of experience at the Division I level and his familiarity with the Big 12 and Oklahoma State will make him a tremendous asset to our program."

Easley returns to Stillwater after spending nine seasons at Iowa State, including the last seven as the program's associate head coach.

"I have known Jim (Littell) since his time at Seward County and have always had respect for him and the way he runs his program," Easley said. "To be able to return to a place that we called home for so many years and have the opportunity to be close to our family again is truly special."

Before joining the Cyclone staff, Easley spent one season as an assistant at Providence College.

During his time at Iowa State, Easley helped the Cyclones reached the postseason every year, including seven NCAA Tournament berths. ISU reached the NCAA Elite Eight in 2009 and the NCAA Sweet 16 the following year.

Easley moved to the Division I level in 1983 when he came to OSU as an assistant coach. During his 19-year tenure, the Cowgirls tallied seven 20-win seasons, made seven trips to the NCAA Tournament and captured three Big Eight titles.

Easley began his coaching career at Slater (Mo.) High School before a stint at State Fair (Mo.) Community College.
