BOYTON, Oklahoma -

An elderly mother and her son died in a house fire in the Muskogee County community of Boynton on Highway 62 early Wednesday.

Firefighters from Boynton and Wainwright responded to the home at 5th and Davis shortly before 7 a.m.

Muskogee County Sheriff's Captain Brandon Caster said firefighters found two bodies in the home.

The victims are identified as 83-year-old Mary Love and her 57-year-old son, Clarence Crane.

The state Fire Marshal's Office was called to assist the sheriff's office with its investigation.

Caster says investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
