Hungry Bear Causes A Stir In LeFlore County Wednesday

It was a wild Wednesday morning in Pocola, as a bear is sighted at an eastern Oklahoma shopping center.

"That's not a dog. That's a bear," said Bobby Goodwin.

No one believed Bobby Goodwin, until he showed them the muddy paw print on his window.

Other folks actually snapped photos of the bear, mesmerized by his own reflection.

The bear visited a Sonic restaurant, a tanning salon, and a chiropractor's office in the LeFlore County community before scampering across a highway and into the woods.

"I've been around here a lifetime and I thought well Goodwin, now you've seen it all. A bear downtown Pocola," said Bobby Goodwin.

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife suspects the bear was checking out dumpsters, looking for a free meal.
