TULSA, Oklahoma – Northwest Arkansas seems to have the Drillers' number lately.

The Naturals picked up a 3-1 win against Tulsa on Tuesday at ONEOK Field, inching ever close to the Drillers in the division standings.

Northwest Arkansas has made up some serious ground against the Drillers lately, winning five out of six games since May 5.

Northwest Arkansas racked up all three of its runs in the first three innings of the game. Sharlon Schoop and Rey Navarro both picked up solo homers in the second and Christian Colon added one in the third.

Tulsa's only run of the day came on an RBI single from Kiel Roling in the bottom of the sixth inning to score Tim Torres.

But it wouldn't be nearly enough as Tulsa fell to 24-14, three games ahead of the second place Naturals, who improved to 21-17.

Chris Dwyer picked up the win on the mound for the Naturals, giving up three hits in 5.1 innings. Edwar Cabrera got the loss for the Drillers, throwing seven innings and giving up all five runs.

The series will continue Wednesday at 11:05 a.m. in Tulsa.
