Tulsa County Deputy Demonstrates Gun-Retention Techniques

Many Oklahomans will be carrying their guns on their hips once the new open-carry gun law goes into effect in November.

Some in law enforcement worry those citizens could have their guns taken away because they don't have the right training.

An expert with Tulsa County, Corporal Billy McKelvey, agreed to demonstrate gun-retention techniques, because he wants citizens to be safe.

He says the most important thing to remember is you have to want to keep your gun, more than the other person wants to take it, which means you have to be prepared to use more violence.
