TULSA, Oklahoma -

Friends and family paid their final respects to a former Oral Roberts University professor Thursday.

Garrett Coble and three others were killed Friday when their plane crashed in a Kansas field.

The service, held at Christ's Chapel at ORU, was not about grieving Garrett's death, but instead celebrating his life.

And that was what the message was all about -- to live life to the fullest just as Garrett lived his every day.

Garrett worked as a visiting marketing professor at ORU before joining the staff at Northeastern State University last year.

He was a missionary, a hunter and one of the biggest Oklahoma State Cowboy fans you would ever meet.

But his greatest love was spreading God's word and impacting the lives of children.

Those who knew him best say Garrett accomplished more in his 29 years than most do in their whole lives.

His younger brother, Blake, read messages from those who had met Garrett along his many journeys.

"Such a tragic loss of an amazing life," Blake Coble said. "When I heard of his passing, my immediate thought was he was able to accomplish all the work that God had set before him in 29 short years and he has now been promoted. He always was an over-achiever."

Garrett and four others were on their way to a Teen Mania Ministries conference in Iowa when their plane crashed.

There was one survivor.

A service for Austin Anderson was held yesterday.

Memorial services for Luke Sheets and Stephen Luth will be held Friday and Saturday, in Iowa and in Wisconsin.
