Game three of the second round series between the Thunder and Lakers is upon us and the team is in LA and ready for the matchup.

It was wheels up to LA for the OKC team on Thursday and the squad held a short practice Friday morning at Santa Monica High School to finalize tonight's game plan.

Live TV coverage of the game begins around 9:30 p.m. with tipoff set for 9:45.

The Thunder lead the series 2-0 after winning both of the first two games on the home court.

Since the thrilling finish to game two, LA fans have been extremely critical of the last attempt shot taken by guard Steve Blake. He and his wife were even the target of death threats on Twitter after the game.

LA is an extremely busy city this week and weekend because the Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and hockey team the Los Angeles Kings all host two playoff games between Thursday and Sunday. In addition the final stage of the Amgen Tour of California cycling race will finish in front of the Staples Center on Sunday morning, making the weekend of chaos a big job for those in charge of the events.

"It's going to be unprecedented for any arena anywhere," said Staples Center senior vice president and general manager Lee Zeidman to ESPN. "No one will ever duplicate it except for us because we're the only arena with an NHL team and two NBA teams."

Even though the team took a day off on Thursday, News 9 Sports Director Dean Blevins was hot on the keyboard with a breakdown on Twitter of the playoff series.
