Tulsa Media Members To Take Part In 'Home Run For The Homeless' Fundraiser

The Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless has announced team rosters for the sixth annual Home Run for the Homeless celebrity softball game slated for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012 at ONEOK Field.

Three members of the News On 6 news team will be playing on the green team to help raise $75,000 to strike out homelessness.

Charlie Hannema, Dan Bewley and Lacie Lowry will be playing.  They've already started competing online at www.homerunforthehomeless.org.

Gates at ONEOK Field will open at 6 p.m. and the game will start at 7 p.m.

The effort has already raised nearly $40,000 to support operations and programs at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.
