TULSA, Oklahoma - A man was rushed to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition after crashing his car on the Broken Arrow Expressway just after 10 p.m. Monday.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the BA near the Sheridan exit.

Tulsa Police say the driver lost control, hit an inside wall and then went across three lanes of traffic before stopping in the roadway.

Officers say the man, who was not wearing a seat belt, ended up being thrown from the car onto the pavement.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police say speed was a factor.
