TULSA, Oklahoma - The Tulsa County District Attorney's office filed a charge of felony murder against a Creek County woman in connection with the February 13, 2012 death of a teacher at Marquette Catholic School in Tulsa.
Tulsa Police say 29-year Marquita Littlebear killed Susan Mamary, 60, in a hit and run crash near 51st Street and Hudson back in February. Mamary was a long-time teacher at Marquette Catholic School.
Littlebear is also being charged with two counts of child abuse; DUI, her second offense, and driving under revocation. According to police, Littlebear had two children with her in the car at the time of the crash.
Littlebear's criminal record dates to at least 1997 when she was convicted of reckless driving and not having a driver's license. She paid a $205 fine.
In 2003, it was a DUI and no driver's license and a fine of $300. In 2006 she was convicted of public intoxication and fined more than a $1,000.
