A long-time fixture on the local and national comedy scene has been missing nearly two weeks.

Sixty-year-old Mark Anderson attended high school in Putnam City. Anderson has opened more than a dozen comedy clubs around the United States in the past 30 years.

Anderson's wife Holly said Anderson went missing the day after Mother's Day. She said Anderson has been under a lot of stress. He owns a comedy club in Tempe, Arizona, that is closing its doors after more than 10 years in operation.

Holly said Anderson suffered a nervous breakdown 16 years ago, and fears it has happened again.

"This is a man who loved his family, loved his son with all his heart. He's not just escaping this," she said.

Mark Anderson has been on the National Missing person's database since May 16. A private investigator is also running down leads.
