BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

A Broken Arrow driver was killed and two others injured in a three-car collision on State Highway 51 Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Francis Harris.

The collision occurred just after noon at the intersection of 232nd East Avenue in Broken Arrow.

Police say Harris – who was driving a Nissan Sentra – turned left onto Highway 51 from 232nd East Avenue and into the path of a westbound truck.

The truck hit Harris' car which pushed the Sentra into the eastbound lanes of the highway where it was struck by a second vehicle, according to police.

The driver of the truck and the eastbound vehicle suffered only minor injuries. Harris was pinned in her car for 20 minutes before being extricated. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the crash, but note Harris may have run a stop sign.
