A Bartlesville man is being sought after he allegedly kidnapped his estranged wife from Hartshorne Monday evening and brought her back to Bartlesville and held her against her will.

Bartlesville Police were called Tuesday after the woman fled to a neighbor's home.

Officers did not find Demetrius Morales, 42, at his home in the 200 block of North Crestwood.

Bartlesville Police Captain Jay Hastings says the victim told them she was approached by Morales after she got off work at 10:30 p.m. Monday in the Pittsburg County community.

Once they got to Bartlesville, Hastings says the victim told them Morales refused to allow her to leave the home and physically assaulted her.

Demetrius Morales is a white male,6 foot tall, 150 pounds with brown eyes and hair. He was last seen driving a blue Honda Civic.

If spotted, Bartlesville Police say to call 911 or 918-338-4015.
