When you go to the Oklahoma City Zoo, you're probably going to see the elephants, giraffes and apes. But have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes?

Here's your chance to find out! In the zoo's Behind the Scenes program, visitors can meet with a someone from the zookeeper staff for a once in a lifetime experience. You'll get the opportunity to spend half a day with our animal technicians as they care for, train and enrich their animals. You'll also have the chance to ask lots of questions and learn what you can do to help animals in the wild. Spaces are limited so reserve your place soon. You may choose to visit one of ten different animal areas.

If you'd like to go behind the scenes the zoo offers the program one day a week from 9 a.m. to noon.
