Tulsa Police Academy Class Graduates Friday

The Tulsa Police Department will add 25 new officers to the force Friday after a graduation ceremony at the police academy at 11 a.m.

In addition, two fire marshals will also graduate Friday.

Following Friday's ceremony, the new rookie officers will complete a 16 week training program in the field.

Tulsa Police say upon completion of that field training, the new officers will fill vacancies in the department's three patrol divisions.
