Tulsa firefighters were called out to an apparent Tulsa meth house that reignited early Sunday. Acting District Chief John Smith said the call came out at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday following the original fire Saturday night.

Investigators said Saturday evening that the fire at a home near 17th Street and Sheridan Road was meth-related.

"It does appear that there were some components of a meth lab inside," TPD officer Jennifer Moore said.

Crews were called to the scene about 6:30 p.m.

Concerned neighbors said they have called police for months, because they were worried about what was going on inside the house.

"It's horrible," Judy Denton said. "I knew it was gonna blow up. I've called the police several times, and I am really upset."

Moore said neighbors at the scene expressed that frequent short-term traffic to the home has caused alarm.

"It's continuous," Denton said. "Every day, all day, all night. I was really scared. I just didn't want my stuff to be damaged."

Police say no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.

Arson investigators will determine the official cause of the original fire and the reignition.

Smith said crews drove by the house at 2 a.m. to check on the house. He said it's not common for house fires to re-ignite, and they don't know what caused it.
