Friends Use Facebook To Support Owasso Near-Drowning Victim

OWASSO, Oklahoma -

A Facebook page has been established to encourage people to pray for a 2-year-old Owasso girl who nearly drowned in a neighborhood pool on Wednesday.

The page gives viewers a status update on Rosalie and asks for prayers.

According to the page, Rosalie is being treated by a neurologist, has been having seizures but is stable.  

Owasso Fire was dispatched to the Lake Valley Neighborhood pool in the 11000 block of North 147th East Avenue just after noon on Wednesday.

Owasso Fire says the girl's aunt found Rosalie on the bottom of the pool, rescued her and began efforts to save her before medics and firefighters arrived.

The neighborhood pool has a sign warning that there is no lifeguard is on duty.
