TULSA, Oklahoma -

Hundreds of youngsters turned out for the 3rd Annual Fit Fest at the OU-Tulsa Schusterman Center on 41st Street in Tulsa Saturday.

The event was part of Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett's "Get Lean Tulsa" health initiative.

Activities included the Presidential Physical Fitness Test for the kids as well as adult health screenings for the parents.

Volunteers from the Southeast Rotary Foundation were on hand to help out.

The mayor's office says the initiative is aimed at helping Tulsans of all ages to become fitter and leaner.
