TULSA, Oklahoma -

Thunder fever is spreading so fast that it's converting one Green Country fan from the dark ages to the digital age.

The Brennan's are your average Oklahoma family -- always on the go -- but rarely in front of the TV.

"We do not even have a small, thin TV," Jenna Brennan said. "We have this huge television from 1995, and we don't have cell phones, we don't watch TV."

Until a few days ago, the family TV was tucked away in the playroom.

"We're kind of in the dark ages," Brennan said. "Electronically, we still have a VCR that I put in tapes for my kids, so they do get to watch videos."

And cable, well, they didn't need cable.

That is until Jenna discovered the Oklahoma City Thunder, which, turns out, wasn't very long ago.

"I didn't even know that Oklahoma City had a basketball team and I sat down and I said, "What? Oklahoma City has a basketball team? And they're in the playoffs? What!?"

She's a stay-at-home mom, so focused on her four daughters that she somehow missed the storm that's been brewing in the state since 2008.

"We like to give Jenna a hard time because she doesn't always know what's going on," Jeremy Brennan said.

She may not always know what's going on, but she does "get" the game.

"I know that [the Thunder is] really excited as a team and really starting to gel, especially in the second half, seems like they've got a pattern going on, which kind of puts us on edge as we watch it," Jenna Brennan said.

Now, with the old TV in its new spot, the Brennan's are bringing Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the team into their living room.

"Once the games started we got so excited, we actually bought cable…" Jenna Brennan said.

And for those who say the Brennan's are bandwagon fans...

"They might be right, but I hope to be a diehard, because we are never leaving Oklahoma," Jenna Brennan said.

They are a Thunder-struck family, cheering on their new team in the NBA Finals, while revisiting some old technology.
