You always hear you can find a cop at a donut shop, and Friday and Saturday it will be true.
It's the tenth annual "Cops on Doughnut Shops."
Tulsa Police are camping on the roof of a local Krispy Kreme to raise funds for the Law Enforcement Torch Run and increase awareness of the Special Olympics movement.
"We really try to put a lot of effort into that cause and this one of the many fundraising events we do throughout the year… and one of our favorites," Tulsa Police Sgt. Jacob Thompson said. "We love it."
Just stop by the Krispy Kreme at 71st Street and Highway 169 to make a donation and get free donuts and coffee.
The event lasts until 10 p.m. both nights.
They're hoping to raise $30,000 over the weekend.
