Elderly Man Reported Missing In Lincoln County Found Safe

An elderly dementia sufferer is found safe.

Wednesday morning Lincoln County issued a Silver Alert for 79-year-old Cody Burlen. Burlen was last seen around 10 a.m. walking southbound on 3568 Road, carrying a fishing pole.

Just after 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, emergency crews found Burlen's hat near Stroud. Shortly after discovering his hat, they found Burlen safe. He was sitting along a creek bed in the shade.
