Tuesday night's results were slow coming in, because of a recount at the Tulsa County Election Board.

Workers from two precincts didn't return the actual voting machines with their supplies Tuesday night, but did bring back their locked boxes with ballots inside.

Election workers decided not to wait until the polling places could be unlocked Wednesday, so they took the paper ballots and did a manual recount, which can take a while.

"We wanted to be accurate with our results," said Patty Bryant of the Tulsa County election board. "And so we're not into speed, we're into accuracy so we had to be real careful, double check everything, and that's why we were slow."

Election workers picked up the last of those machines today.
