Fire Destroys Rural Barn West of Sperry

SPERRY, Oklahoma -

Fire destroyed a barn west of Sperry Thursday morning.

The Sperry Fire Department says the barn was in a rural area located in the 11600 block of North 52nd West Avenue.

Firefighters from Country Corner Volunteer Fire and Skiatook Fire assisted Sperry in fighting the fire.

The barn was being used as a mechanic shop. 

Firefighters say the fire appears to have been caused by an electrical malfunction. 

No one was injured.
