Death Of Missing Kingfisher Woman Ruled Accidental Drowning

Betty Simon, 76, was found dead inside her car Saturday morning, under a bridge on N. Council Road just south of W. Edmond Road in the Deer Creek area.

The Medical Examiner's officer has ruled the death of a missing Kingfisher woman as an accidental drowning.

Betty Simon, 76, was reported missing on June 20. Her body was found inside her car Saturday morning, under a bridge on N. Council Road just south of W. Edmond Road in the Deer Creek area.

Simon had been visiting her husband at an assisted living facility in Oklahoma City after he had heart surgery. She was headed home to Kingfisher when she went missing.
