Jenks firefighters removing fire hoses from the scene
JENKS, Oklahoma -
A home in Jenks burned to the ground late Wednesday night just east of U.S. Highway 75.
Jenks Fire and Glenpool Fire both responded to the fire just before 11 p.m. and Jenks firefighters remained at the scene Thursday morning to put out any fires that might flare up.
SkyNews6 spotted the smoldering home on 108th Street South, between Elwood and U.S. Highway 75.
The homeowner tells News On 6, a relative visiting from out of town woke up to smoke and alerted the rest of the family. Everyone got out safely.
Investigators are still trying to determine how the fire started.
