Two Oklahoma men were killed in a collision on U.S. Highway 62 Friday afternoon.

Clark Barton, 19, and Eugene Taylor, 55, both died on the scene.

Both men were from Boynton, Oklahoma.

Police said they believed Barton was driving a 1996 Chevrolet pickup truck south on U.S. 62 when he crossed the center line and struck a 1999 GMC Suburban, driven by Taylor, head-on.

Both drivers were pinned in their vehicles while a crew from Haskell Fire and Rescue extricated them.

The weather in that area was clear and dry Friday afternoon.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
