STILWELL, Oklahoma -

A Stilwell woman was killed in an auto accident on state highway 59 in Adair County Sunday morning.

According to the OHP report, 46-year-old Anthony James Smith was driving his 2004 Ford F-150 northbound on US 59 with Janice Sue Smith, 64, as his passenger.

Around 11 a.m. the truck left the roadway to the right for an unknown reason and struck a tree. The vehicle rolled 1/4 time and came to rest on the passenger side. Despite both being buckled in, Janice Smith was partially ejected out of the passenger window.
