With 18 games remaining in the regular season, the Tulsa Shock tied last season's win total on Sunday – and did it in convincing fashion.

The Shock earned its third victory of the year with a 78-62 thumping of the Washington Mystics at the BOK Center in Tulsa. The Shock outscored Washington in every quarter, controlling the game from start to finish.

The Shock (3-13) shot 42 percent from the floor and 47 percent from 3, in addition to a 17-for-21 performance from the free-throw line, in one of the best shooting outing of the season for Tulsa.

Ivory Latta again led the Shock in scoring with 18 points. The 5-foot-6 veteran guard also led the team with six rebounds. Guard Temeka Johnson scored 17, including connecting on all three of her 3-point attempts. Center Glory Johnson tacked on 16 points and five rebounds with Riquna Williams adding 11 to wrap up the double-digit scorers for Tulsa. For the second consecutive game, all nine Shock players who played scored.

Washington (3-12) guard Crystal Langhorne led the Mystics with 13 points on 6-for-9 shooting, but the rest of the Mystics failed to gain much ground against the Shock with no other player managing double figures in the team's third-lowest scoring output of the year.

Tulsa also outrebounded the Mystics 34-30 and forced Washington into 19 turnovers.

The Shock will look to string together back-to-back victories for the first time this season when it faces Minnesota on Tuesday in the final game of its six-game home stand. Tipoff is 11:30 a.m. in the BOK Center.
