BRAGGS, Oklahoma -

BRAGGS, Oklahoma - Braggs Public Works has again issued a boil order for the small Muskogee County town.

"Due to low water pressure in the water system and the potential for contamination as a result of this situation, the drinking water supplied by Bragg Public Works Authority may be unsafe for human consumption," states a bulletin issued Monday morning.

Effective immediately residents need to boil their water before drinking it or using it.

The community's four wells are not pumping enough water from an underground aquifer to meet demand from its 416 customers. The last boil order was issued June 26.

"The Braggs Public Works Authority cannot stress enough the need for water conservation," the bulletin continues.
