Salazar's wife, Nora, confirmed with News 9 that Cleveland County Sheriff's deputies found Salazar's body on Tuesday, in a field near the family's Norman property.

Nora said deputies found Salazar's ID in his wallet that he had on him.

Salazar's body has been sent to the Medical Examiner's Office, according to his wife.

It is unknown at this point if foul play is suspected in Salazar's death.

According to the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a call Tuesday morning about a body being found in the area of 192nd and Carol Lane. When deputies arrived to check out the caller's claims, they did find a body at that location.

Authorities say it appears the body has been out there for a while. They are still investigating the case.

The Medical Examiner will positively identify the body and determine a cause of death.
