Two adults and one juvenile were arrested after a series of auto and residential burglaries in Logan County overnight Sunday.

Christopher Allen, 22, Timothy Slawson, 21, and a 17-year-old male juvenile are all in custody for the crimes.

The burglaries occurred in the area near Triplett and Pine, with victims thus far reported on Hamilton Drive, Allen Road, and Oak Lake Drive.

According to the Logan County Sheriff's Department, a resident was working in his garage around 2 a.m. when one of the suspects broke into the garage and was surprised to find the victim inside. The victim armed himself and chased the suspect outside.

Once outside the suspect turned to confront the victim, wielding a large knife and roll of duct tape. The victim however held the suspect at gunpoint until Deputies arrived. Once in custody, the suspect provided information that lead to the arrest of two other suspected burglars.

A large amount of stolen property was recovered during the investigation. Deputies are still taking reports and are canvassing the neighborhoods for additional victims.

Deputies are working to match the recovered property with its rightful owner. Authorities are advising residents to check their vehicles, garages, outbuildings, and homes to determine if they've been burglarized.

If you have missing property, please call the Sheriff's Office to make a report.
