Driver Injured When Cement Truck Rolls Over In Northeast Tulsa

The driver of a cement truck was taken to a Tulsa hospital after his truck rolled onto its side Tuesday morning in Tulsa County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the truck was southbound on 145th East Avenue when the driver turned west onto 56th Street North.

Troopers say the load shifted, causing the truck to roll over. EMSA took the 30-year-old driver to the hospital with neck and head injuries. He was transported in fair condition.

The intersection was closed for more than an hour as crews cleaned up the wreckage.
