Sooners, Cowboys To Participate In ESPN Big Monday Doubleheader

The Big 12 Conference announced Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will participate in an ESPN Big Monday doubleheader on Jan. 21 in both team's only appearance in a Big Monday contest this season.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day matchups will pit the Cowboys on the road against Baylor at 4:30 p.m. CST, while the Sooners will take on Texas at home at 8:30 p.m. CST.

For the Sooners, this is the first ESPN Big Monday appearance since the 2009-2010 season, when OU appeared three times. The Cowboys have participated in at least one Big Monday game in each of the past 10 seasons. OSU has faced just Oklahoma, Kansas, or Texas in Big Monday contests since 2003.

The full Big 12 schedule will be released in the next couple of weeks.
