OKLAHOMA CITY -
Children may be getting an
X-rated education from somewhere other than the classroom according to a new
study that finds a rising number of kids are learning about sex from watching
pornography.
British researchers find
that porn is our most prominent sex educator. And it's an international
epidemic, with the number one place to score porn being at school.
"You don't want your child's
sex education or other education to come from those mediums" said Sarah McFadden
with Sunbeam Family Services.
The average age children first watch pornography
is 11 years old.

Kiesha Eberson, mother of three doesn't have cable or the net, so News 9 asked her 11
year old when the first time she heard of sex. She says she was 10 when
she first heard about it, but it was her mother who gave her the birds and the
bees talk.
"They are getting exposed to it already before the
parents get a chance to talk to them about it, so I just talk to them about
everything," Eberson said.
Researchers said kids surveyed thought the risqué
adult movies depict features of average sexual relationships. The study
also found 88% of pornography shows physical aggression toward a female
participant.
