Despite the heat all summer, attendance at the Tulsa Zoo has been up this year.

The zoo credits the opening of the new sea lion exhibit as a big draw.

As a thank you to the community, the zoo is offering $1 admission this Saturday.

Families who want to brave the heat can get in early, beginning at 7 a.m.
