SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -

Police in Sand Springs set up a search perimeter after a man fired a handgun while robbing a convenience store early Tuesday morning.

It happened at the Kum & Go on West Adams around 2:30 a.m. Police say a man ran into the store with a gun and demanded cash.

While waiting on the clerk to get the money, the man fired off one round over the clerk's head. The clerk was not injured.

Sand Springs Police officers searched the area, but so far have not located the gunman.
