Final Thunder Girls Audition Set For Thursday

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the final round of auditions for the 2012-13 Thunder Girls on Thursday. All fans are invited to attend and watch, as the dancers compete for a spot on the team.

A panel of judges, including Wayne Coyne and Miss Oklahoma 2012, will announce the new team at the end of the evening.

More than 100 dancers participated in the open auditions, which were held on July 28. Judges narrowed the talented group down to 38 ladies for Thursday's finals.

The Thunder Girls are presented by Riverwind Casino. The dance teams makes more than 200 appearances throughout the community and are Thunder ambassadors 365 days a year.

The final auditions are at 7 p.m. in the Showplace Theatre at Riverwind in Norman. The doors open at 6 p.m.
