After losing her husband in a senseless crime, a Green Country woman said she spent the next two years holding her family together with both hands. Now, she's losing her grip on her livelihood, thanks to a thief.
The past few years have been anything but easy for Misty Saldivar and her two young children.
Her husband, Jaime, died nearly two years ago.
"He was an honest hard-worker, trying to support his family," Saldivar said.
Jaime owned a lawn care service. He was hard at work when someone tried to steal his truck and his trailer full of equipment.

Saldivar said her husband grabbed hold of the truck and tried to fight off the thief.
Jaime was thrown from the vehicle when the driver gunned the engine.
"He lasted 11 days and then we lost him," Saldivar said.
She said she still has trouble talking about that day and her husband's killer.
"He seen it on the news that he killed my husband, He don't wake up and face what I face every day. He goes on about his life. I don't. I have no husband and no father for my kids," Saldivar said. "[It's] very hard. It's a hard situation, every time I talk about it, I cry."
Through her tear-filled eyes, she puts on a brave face and picks up her weed eater, just to keep her family afloat. She is now running the family lawn care business. It's a small way to keep Jaime's memory and dreams alive.
And just when she thought she was back on her feet, Tuesday she came home to find her truck had been stolen.
"I can't win for losing," Saldivar said. "Get out here and try to do right and then thieves take everything."
But they haven't taken her faith or her will to keep fighting for the two reasons that make her life worth living.
"They're beautiful; they're just like their dad. It's all I got left of him, so I gotta hold on to them," Saldivar said.
The police had very little to go on after Jaime's death, and have still not found his killer.
His truck and equipment was found the same day it was stolen.
As for Misty, she said she knows she can't have her husband back, so now she just wants her truck back.
